Do well for the benefit of others! On the “Zaporizhstal” works, the traditional Donor Day was held. 91 employees took part in the charity event. It was possible to collect more than 40 liters of blood. Annually five such actions are held at PJSC, which are collected by more than a hundred volunteers. In 2016, thanks to the indifference of “Zaporizhstal”, some 250 liters of blood were collected.
– The Donor Day for “Zaporizhstal” became long ago as the traditional one. Due to their non-indifference, hundreds of patients, both adults and children, receive vital help. So, last year “Zaporizhstal” received 160 donor’s blood units for small patients of the oncohematology department of the regional children’s hospital. And this proves once again that real benefactors are working at the “Zaporizhstal” works , – said Andrey Luchenko, Personnel director of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal”.
At the first Donor Day in 2017 managed to collect more than 40 liters of precious liquid. Donor blood will be transferred to the Zaporozhye regional blood transfusion station and to medical institutions.
