Metinvest’s enterprises – Zaporozhstal, Zaporozhcoke, and Zaporozhogneupor – have been recognized for the best collective bargaining agreements among enterprises in Zaporozhye region in 2020.
On April 28, 2021, representatives of Metinvest’s enterprises received certificates and commemorative gifts from Ruslan Shykhanov, deputy chairperson of the regional state administration, Aleksandr Golovko, chairperson of the council of the regional federation of employers, and Vitaliy Kapliy, chairperson of the regional trade union council, for topping the Zaporozhye Trade Union Council’s ranking among enterprises and establishments in the region.
Winners of the competition are picked based on such criteria as positive trends in productive employment, salary and social welfare levels, occupational safety level, and amenities. Implementation of innovative technologies, social development of an enterprise, retention of employees, and creation of new jobs are also considered in the ranking.
In 2020, Zaporozhstal’s collective bargaining agreement was named the best among enterprises in Zaporozhye region with more than 10 thousand employees. Zaporozhogneupor’s collective bargaining agreement for 2019 topped the ranking among enterprises with up to 5 thousand employees. Zaporozhcoke’s collective bargaining agreement for 2020 achieved the highest rating among enterprises with up to 2 thousand employees.
It should be noted that Metinvest’s enterprises in Zaporozhye have traditionally been ranked number one in the regional rating. The enterprises deliver on all social commitments laid down in collective bargaining agreements in full every year. The completed activities include the creation of comfortable and safe working environment, organization of sports, recreational and cultural activities, financial assistance to employees and long-serving employees of the plant.
