The celebration Day in the honour of participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident is far from outlying to Zaporizhstal. The company regularly supports Chernobyl. Only now, 46 liquidators are employed at the PJSC.
At the celebrations on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the sarcophagus construction completion, the liquidators were handed out the awards. The Works joined the congratulations, too. For the gifts presented to tamers of raging atom, UAH20 thousand were allocated.
– Today at the ceremonial event, we hand out the awards to our Chernobyl liquidators. Thanks to the support of Zaporizhstal and its General Director, Rostyslav Shurma, we managed to get valuable gifts for the liquidators, – said Pavel Belan, chairman of the Zaporozhye municipal public organization “Chernobyl liquidators from Zaporozhye”. Since Rostyslav Igorevich became a General Director, the Works has been supporting us every year. The greatest thanks to him from all of us.
The Chernobyl liquidators will not remain without concern of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” in the future.
