At the youth forum, which took place in Zaporizhia city on December 6, they presented the project “City Mobile Youth Hub”.
The authors of the project were the initiative group of the youth and family department belongs to the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of Zaporizhia City Council. It was possible to realize the idea thanks to the victory in the contest of social initiatives “We are the city”.
Mobile hub will be involved in the organization of festivals and events for young people of Zaporizhia city. Equipment that was previously rented now will always be available for the event planners.
– Here, as an example of this project, we can clearly see the host attitude instead of the consumer attitude of young people towards the events organization. This is the case when youth events will be held specifically for young people, organized by young people and young people will win in this project. I want to say thanks to the organizers from the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” and the project “We are the city”, which enables young people to express themselves and to present their ideas, moreover it gives an opportunity that these ideas will be heard and implemented,” – shared Sergey Ilchenko, the Youth Mayor of Zaporizhia.
