The grant in the amount of about 100 thousand received for winning the competition “We – are the city”, which is annually held “Zaporizhstal”, helped wildlife rehabilitation center in Vasilevka build a comfort zone for visitors and two new enclosure for the animals.
New cages proved to be very useful, as in July, was born seven pups – six cubs and one cub. As the head of Vasilyevsky District Charitable Foundation “Bald Mountain” Alexander Pylyshenko, Cubs will take turns to participate in photo shoots with visitors. Besides tigers and lions in the zoo also include bears and dogs – all visitors can learn about 30 animals.
In general, the victory in contest of “Zaporizhstal” social projects “We – are the city” made it possible to equip a rehabilitation center for wild animals, to create a cultural park recreational area, to draw public attention to the ecological situation in the world, to take care of the environment and inculcate in children and adults environmental awareness and love for animals.
