Pupils of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” – pupils of Zaporizhzhya Youth Sports School “Metallurg”, football players of U-16 team, passed to the top-eight of the Ukrainian best teams, who will compete for the Pre-adolescent Football League Cup of Ukraine. The youngsters confidently outplayed their peers from Nikolayev football players “Torpedo-VUFC” with a score of 0: 3.
– We played very well today! The main thing is that they played for zero – they scored three and this is the most important. Now we have preparations for the Cup final game, which will be held in Kiev from 8 to 12 of March, – said Dmitri Zaporozhenko, Director of the Sports School “Metallurg”. – Today we have everything that we need. We have modular dressing rooms, we have full support from the city council, “Zaporizhstal” steel works in the person of its CEO Rostislav Shurma, that is why we have no problems. As you can see, we thank for such help by means of good results.
Now the young players will have to work harder. At stake – the champions pedestal and medals!
