Khortitsa Charitable Foundation won the social initiative “We are the city”. With the grant money of the contest, the foundation implemented the project “Cultural Teahouse”.
The exhibition “How Kharitina Marchenko built DniproGES” – the winner project of the last season “We are the city”. “Cultural Tea House” is a continuation of this project, in the framework of which the exhibition was replenished with new exhibits and released a thematic magazine. They also planned to hold seven cultural teahouses during which Zaporozhye citizens can familiarize themselves with the exhibits and watch a documentary film about DniproGES building.
The opening of the first teahouse was visited by the deputy of the city council from the Opposition bloc Igor Chumachenko:
– The Cultural Teahouse Project is an interesting object for our city, which aims to unite generations. When this project was submitted to the contest “We are the city”, all experts supported it. Such a place of communication is very important to show the young people the history of our city creation. Today, having communicated with the guests of this event, I saw that everyone is united by the desire to develop our city. I am sure that here many interesting and useful meetings will take place.
The first cultural tea was held for the veteran organization of Kommunarsky district. There are plans to hold six more such events for residents of different areas.
