On April 12th, 2014 in the context of all Ukrainian subbotnik, the large corporate volunteering event «Clean city» has taken place in Zaporozhye. 600 persons have taken part in it, among them employees of the «Zaporizhstal» Steel Works, public joint-stock company “Zaporozhkoks”, public joint-stock company “Zaporozhogneupor”, members of their families, and also not indiffer-ent citizens of Zaporozhye.
Volunteers have taken away the garbage and have improved territories on the area of more than 420 thousand m² in two parks of the city – in park named after Kirov and park of Metallurgists.
Similar events have taken place in all cities where the Metinvest Group is present.
