Held a bicycle ride on August 24 is a strong tradition for employees. Once, in such a healthy way, the Youth Organization proposed to celebrate Independence Day of Ukraine.
This year about 70 people took part in the bicycle ride. Some of participants gathered their family to make a route from the Works management building of Zaporizhstal to the Khortytsia island, where participants laid flowers near the memorial in memory of the famous Ukrainian writer Taras Shevchenko.
Vladimir Korzhov, Head of the Zaporizhstal Railway Transport Department was the presented among the other bicycle riders:
“It is very nice to ride around the city in the morning, breathe in fresh air, and congratulate people on the holiday having elated mood. People are looking at us, smiling. I ride my bike every day to work. Sometimes happens that I arrange workouts bicycle training in the evenings. I have discovered this type of transport recently, just three years ago and realized that this is mine. Now I do not part with my bike and I recommend it to everyone.
