A “Book Yard” was opened near the building of the Zaporozhye Regional Library for Young People. In that way, one more project-winner of the contest “We are the city” was carried out.
In 2016, the library’s initiative group won a grant of UAH80,000 for winning the contest. It helped the authors of the project to create a book yard with benches, a stage and book stands, as well as to purchase equipment for various events – microphones, speakers and amplifiers.
As the initiators of this yard arranging say, here it will be possible not only to organize bookcrossing (exchange of books), but also to conduct various concerts and actor’s performances.
