In kindergarten No. 22 “Ivushka”, the project “Modern Eco-paths for Kids and Adults” was inaugurated. It was implemented thanks to a grant won in the contest of social initiatives “We Are the City”.
Eco-paths for walking, coniferous and perennial flowers, a large alpine slide, a mosaic of colorful pebbles, lids, screenings … and before that place was bare earth. Beauty was created thanks to the victory in the contest “We Are the City.” In honor of the opening of the project, a concert was organized in the kindergarten: they prepared dance numbers with children and sang songs. And they also founded the Alley of Generations. Rowan, birch and oak trees planted with local citizens
Elena Popovich, head of the preschool institution:
“Eco-paths are an island of beauty in our village Zaporozhye-Levoye. In this territory, we sometimes make fests for the local citizens. We can say that this avenue is central. People walk and relax on it, mothers with strollers walk here. The idea of eco-paths came to me when my grandson was born. The child had nowhere in the village to take the first steps. Now mothers with young children come here and walk along the paths”.
