In 2019, Zaporizhstal transferred 2.5 billion UAH to the State Budget of Ukraine, which is 33% less than the level of 2018 (3.8 billion hryvnias in 2018). In 2019, the Works transferred 670 million UAH to local budgets.
The Works managed to keep the contributions to the local budgets of Zaporizhzhia region at the level of 2018 year due to the growth of salaries in 2019 and, accordingly, the growth of contributions of personal income tax (PIT) and single social security tax. The average salary growth in 2019 averaged 25%.
Note, Metinvest Group, taking into account associates and joint ventures, in 2019 transferred 21.1 billion UAH of taxes and fees to budgets of all levels, which is 5% lower than last year.
