Thanks to the victory in the contest, “We Are City” and a grant of 40 thousand UAH, gallery systems, special lighting installed and cosmetic repairs done in the premises of the Zaporizhzhia Children’s Art School. Now the thematic and personal exhibitions of the best works of its 400 students and prominent graduates will be conducted in a bright and spacious gallery.
The gallery was opened with the presentation of the exhibition “On the Wings of Creativity”, where 35 works of art school students were presented. Moreover, they also held master classes in painting, drawing, modeling, molding, to which almost two hundred children and their parents were invited.
The idea of the gallery of junior belongs to the deputy director of the art school Vitaly Simchuk. Now, according to Vitaly, they will try to hold exhibitions at the school as often as possible:
Not only parents, but also everyone will be able to be acquainted with creativity of young artists. The exhibition will contribute to the cultural development the citizens of Zaporizhzhia. For the first time I applied for participation in the contest “We Are City” and I find it very useful. It is an incredible luck for Zaporozhye that we have such a grant program.
