From May 28 to June 10, online voting for the “People’s Project” took place on the website of the contest of social projects “We are this city”. Most of the Cossacks chose the best initiative of secondary school No. 23 “Children’s Space” Generation Z “. The competition is held with the support of Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest – Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhkoks, Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant.
Of the 150 ideas of the semi-finalists of the competition, who also participated in the voting, the townspeople chose a project to create a modern adaptive location for preschoolers and children of primary school age. The authors of the idea are sure: a new space equipped with game structures and created with the support of the grant “We are a city” will contribute to a balanced physical and mental development of the little ones.
The winner of the popular vote will participate in the open defense of projects before the expert jury of the competition, which takes place on June 11-14. According to the results of public defense, the experts will determine the winners, who will receive grants totaling UAH 5,700,000 from Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhkoks and the Zaporizhzhia Foundry-Mechanical Plant.
Summing up the results of the seventh season of the contest “We are the city” and the names of the winners of the competition will be announced on June 21. Each of the ideas of the finalists will receive 100 000 hryvnias grant for its implementation.
Let’s remind that during the entire existence of the “We are a city” contest, the Cossacks submitted 1233 applications for the participation, the best 230 were implemented. The grant fund of the competition for this period amounted to UAH 15,300,000.
