The “TapArtDance” team members performed Irish and American dances on the new mobile scene. It took place near the Yubileiny Square and everyone could look at the performance.
It was possible to get a new scene thanks to the victory in the contest of social initiatives “We are the city”. The scene is also useful in the future to implement the studio project “Step towards Everyone” Z-TapTown. With this project, members of the dance group want to acquaint the citizens with the Irish and American types of step dance (tap dance).
“I believe that the contest “We are the city” has already become the hallmark of Zaporizhia. It has been implemented in every district of the city for 6 years. This year there were more than 200 applications, – said the head of the department of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” Yaroslav Kryl. – The project “Step towards Everyone” Z-TapTown immediately became the most favorable among the jury of the contest “We are the city”. Because everyone understood, that this project is for our children and that, this is the development of culture. By the way, last year this team won a grant for costumes.
