METINVEST Group Enterprises in Zaporizhzhia – ZAPORIZHSTAL, ZAPOROZHKOKS, ZAPORIZHOGNEUPOR and ZAPOROZHIE MECHANICAL FOUNDRY PLANT provided children of the employees with full-scale school kits within the framework of the corporative program named Going for the First time to the First Form. About 3.4 mln hryvnias is applied to this program.
On August 30 in the square of Mayakovsky, school children of METINVEST employees in Zaporizhzhia were festively presented with school kits. Not only 550 first form school-children traditionally received backpacks and school-kits for the Knowledge Day: kits were selected taking into account needs of the children in the age of 7-11 and 12-16 years old. All children received stationery in addition to eco-friendly backpacks: copy books, pens, arts and crafts set, erasers, rulers and etc.
“Every family has its own traditions. In the METINVEST family this traditions are mutual help and support. Every school year starts with the holiday and presents from the COMPANY (bright and convenient backpacks with everything neces-sary inside) for the children of our employees within the framework of the corporate project named Going for the First Time to the First Form. This year is also not an exception”, remarked Aleksandr Myronenko, the General Director of ZAPORIZHSTAL.
Totally about 40 thousand children of METINVEST enterprises employees received kits for the new school year.
Following a good tradition, Zaporizhzhia grammar schools and secondary technical educational institutions supported by the COMPANY will receive sets of multimedia devices for the Knowledge Day from the Zaporizhzhia METINVEST enterprises.
