PJSC “Zaporizhstal” has financed the rehabilitation and recreation for the athletes from Zaporozhye Regional Center “Invasport” between the ages of 9 to 14 years. From March 25 to April 7, where 19 children of Inwasport will rest and conduct training camps on the basis of a health resort in the city of Energodar (Zaporozhye region).
Training camps are an important stage in preparation for the all-Ukrainian sports championship “Believe in yourself” for physically challenged children and the Ukrainian Swimming Cup for physically challenged athletes. Therefore, the comprehensive program of the rehabilitation camp is made taking into account the activities in the swimming pool and gyms, as well as health and rehabilitation procedures. A high-calorie menu is composed for small athletes.
“All our pupils are children with defeat of the musculoskeletal system and vision problems, and sport for them has become a real opportunity to show themselves and achieve great results. The brightest example – at the open swimming championship in the city of Lviv, our children took 66 medals, 44 of them were gold! In many respects – thanks to the support of the PJSC “Zaporizhstal” , which helps in the organization of training camps, ” – said the head of the training and sports department of the Zaporozhye regional center “Invasport”, the swimming trainer Irina Paveleva.
PJSC “Zaporizhstal” steel works provides system support to the Zaporozhye regional center “Invasport”. Since 2015, the enterprise annually finances the rehabilitation of small athletes. In 2018, the steel works will send about 200 thousand UAH for these purposes.
