The Social Initiatives Competition “We are the City” helped to implement the project of table game “NewZP”, which displays in the game form the process of hometown improvement.

The author of the project was the chairman of public organization “I Love Zaporizhzhia” Viktor Babenko. According to the game creator, the main goal of the project was to create a game for young people that would teach them to solve problems of the city. For the implementation of this idea, the social initiatives contest “We are the city” of Zaporizhstal Steel Works has sent a grant in the amount of 64 thousand UAH.

The game “NewZP” is designed for young people. It consists of a playing field in the form of map of Zaporizhzhia, divided into squares, cards and chips. Each square player can improve by implementing a project in this area. The special feature of the game is that all proposed projects are actually implementing in our city, this are new terminal at the airport, construction of bridges, and other improvements.

“Today’s game is full of special meaning,” said Irisat Magomedaliyeva, coordinator of the project “We are the city”, head of the regional development department PJSC “Zaporizhstal”. – This game is about making a city better that is the task of every citizen. In order to change something, you need to start with yourself, from your courtyard, entrance. This is the main goal of the contest “We are the city”. We supported the NewZP game project because we believe it is very important to bring these values to young people in an easy, playful way.
