Every year, Metinvest conducts certification of the general corporate program “Rabochiy Byt (working life)“, which is designed to improve the living conditions of production workers at the Group’s enterprises. After the autumn-winter audit at fourteen enterprises, the results were summed up, and the best ones were given social certificates.
The condition of household objects at enterprises was assessed according to four criteria: financial, social, image and corporate. Based on them, an assessment was made of how rationally the allocated budget was used, the sanitary condition of the facilities, the appearance of the facades of buildings and adjacent roads and alleys, as well as the careful attitude of employees to the maintenance of the renovated household facilities.
The auditors have assessed the household premises, which were updated within the framework of the “Working Life” program in 2019.
In 2019, for the implementation of the “Working Life” program at Zaporizhstal, more than 73 million hryvnias were allocated to the renovation of sanitary facilities, showers, dressing rooms of the hot rolling mill shop, slag processing workshop, train preparation workshop, railway transport management, certification workshop and tests of the Works’ products. As part of the program, 12 facilities with an area of 5,743 m2 were renovated for more than 2,500 employees.
The auditors, based on the results of the program evaluation at Zaporizhstal, awarded the mill with the first certification level with the mark “good”.
