From 28 March to 28 April Labour Safety Month under the motto of the International Labour organization – «Management of risks and preventive measures in the sphere of labour in new conditions» was held at Zaporizhstal.
Specialists of the labour protection department have carried out 7 special-purpose inspections at night, 18 unexpected special-purpose inspections in a format «safety patrol» using photo- and video shooting. Inter shop inspections of labour safety conditions were carried out.
Results of the competitions which have been taking place since 2005 under the motto «For safe work and high culture of production» among 5 groups of departments were summed up. Collectives-winners were given gifts of money up to 10 000 UAH. The best workers of Zaporizhstal on labour safety were determined in 6 nominations. Each of them was paid 1 000 UAH.
