By the Day of Metallurgical and Mining Industry Workers of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia Metinvest enterprises – Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhkoks, Zaporozhogneupor and Zaporizhzhya Foundry and Mechanical Plant – awarded diplomas and prizes to more than 400 best employees. All employees were also rewarded for the holiday, and material assistance was paid to veterans of the enterprises.
On the eve of the Metallurgist’s and Miner’s Day, solemn meetings were held at the enterprises, at which 417 employees were awarded diplomas of the enterprises and the Company, orders, valuable gifts and prizes. The bonus fund amounted to more than one million hryvnias.
Four employees of Metinvest’s Zaporizhzhia enterprises are Mikhail Zaitsev, a locksmith-repairman of the Zaporizhstal sinter shop, Alexander Sazonov, section head of the Zaporizhzhia Service Center in Zaporozhogneupor, Artem Kolesnik, foreman of the Zaporizhzhia sulfur treatment plant, and Andrei Glinyany, drying operator of the foundry shop of the Zaporizhzhia foundry-and-mechanical plant – were awarded the Company’s highest award, the Metinvest Gold Star, and were awarded a major cash prize each.
All employees of the enterprises were paid a bonus for the holiday, all veterans – financial assistance. The total amount of payments for these purposes is more than 7.2 million hryvnias.
Metinvest Group General Director Yuri Ryzhenkov congratulated metallurgists on their professional holiday:
