The new approaches to Steel Works property protection are implemented at “Zaporizhstal” Integrated Iron and Steel Works with the purpose to fulfill the requirements of Law of Ukraine “On Security Guard Activities”, which comes into effect on October 18, 2012.
From October, 2012 according to concluded agreement, LLC “Security Holding” would fulfill the security activities of Iron and Steel Works property protection. Thus, the Steel Works fulfills the requirements of Law of Ukraine ” On Security Guard Activities”, which comes into effect on October 18, 2012 and governs procedural and institutional principles for rendering services of property protection. In particular, the law provides for obligatory licensing of security services, exercising of professional approach to the site protection. LCC “Security Holding” has all necessary permitting documents according to requirements of the new Law. With engaging of professional security organization, it is planned to get high quality improvement in the protection of Steel Works property.
The staff of existing at JSC “Zaporizhstal” structure of corporate paramilitary security detachment unit would be transferred in full strength to LLC“Security Holding” with preservation of wage and all social protection floor.
In accordance with the Law, security personnel should undergo relevant preparation or training. For that matter, from October, 2012 all security staff of the Steel Works who had been transferred to LCC “Security Holding” would undergo training at special courses and receive the official document, confirming their qualification.
