Zaporizhstal of Metinvest Group became certified for the compliance of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel with the requirements of EN 10025-1, Construction Regulations 305/2011 and EN 10130.
The recertification audit took place at Zaporizhstal on 21 and 22 February 2023. The experts of the auditing company “Technical and Management Services”, a corporate partner of the largest certification company “TUF ZYuD”, inspected the production process in the hot and cold rolling shops. As part of the audit, steel samples were tested in the plant’s centre for product testing and certification.
The auditors highly appreciated the continuous work related to the improvement of customer focus and the projects aimed at reducing defects. The experts noted that the quality of the plant’s products is getting better every year and meets high European standards.
Following the audit results, Zaporizhstal got certificates proving the compliance of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel with the requirements of EN 10025-1, Appendix ZA, as well as Construction Regulations 305/2011 and EN 10130.
It is worth reminding that since 2016, Zaporizhstal has been operating in accordance with the requirements of international standards EN 10025-1: 2004 and EN 10130: 2006. The plant has been also certified and proving its compliance with the requirements of international standards for the quality management system IS0 9001 on a regular basis since 2003, as well as environmental management systems ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety management ISO 45001 since 2008.
