“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works of Metinvest Group handed over almost 200 workwear suits for various purposes and 80 pairs of special shoes for the total amount of UAH 2 million to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Region for the Day of Civil Defence Workers of Ukraine.
On September 15, 2023, as part of a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the Rescuer of Ukraine, the employees of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service and subordinate units received awards for the professional holiday. Gratitude for the heroic performance of official duties during the liquidation of extraordinary events in wartime and congratulations from “Zaporizhstal” team to the Zaporizhzhia rescuers was conveyed by Roman Slobodyanyuk, General Director of the Steel Works.
For the professional holiday, the rescuers received almost 200 workwear suits from “Zaporizhstal”, including winter and summer casual uniforms, fire-resistant uniforms for firefighters, and 80 pairs of special shoes for a total of UAH 2 million.
It should be noted that “Zaporizhstal” systematically supports rescuers from Zaporizhzhia, providing the personnel with protective body armor and helmets, various equipment and cars.
