PJSC “Zaporozhstal” Collective Bargaining Agreement is voted one of the best in Ukraine

PJSC “Zaporozhstal” Collective Bargaining Agreement at years-end of 2019-2020 has become the winner in the category “The best collective bargaining agreement in industry” of the All-Ukrainian Contest of Trade Unions Federation of Ukraine.The basic criteria, taken into account when choosing the winner were production, social benefits package, wage level, health&safety and recreation care for employees.

On December 16, 2021 a diploma and a commemorative token were bestowed to Head of HR Department of PJSC “Zaprozhstal” Vladimir Rybachenok and First Deputy Chairman for Trade Union Committee of PJSC “Zapo-rozhstal” Vladimir Maksak as part of the V Plenum of Zaporozhsky Regional Council of the Trade Union of Steel-makers and Miners of Ukraine

Annually all social benefits, specified in the collective bargaining agreement, are implemented in full at PJSC “Za-porozhstal”.The social benefits package of ZS includes the creation of comfortable conditions of working house-hold and safe working conditions, organization of high-quality health care and insurance, organization of sports, recreational and cultural activities, financial assistance to employees and long-serving employees of the plant. In 2020 the iron and steel works allocated about UAH 400 mln for the implementation of all social benefits.

“The reward for the best collective bargaining agreement among industrial enterprises of Ukraine – is an honoured appreciation of the work of the whole 10-thousand team of PJSC “Zaporozhstal”.Despite the difficult economic situation, connected with the pandemic, the iron and steel works has managed to implement all the social benefits of the collective bargaining agreement on wages, medical insurance, personnel’s development, recreation and support to long-serving employees of the plant.The iron and steel works has developed and successfully imple-ment the social benefits package “My choice”, the implementation of which required the allocation of UAH 70 mln by the iron and steel works, – said Head of HR Department of PJSC “Zaprozhstal” Vladimir Rybachenok.

It is worth reminding, that the collective bargaining agreements of Zaporozhye Metinvest’s enterprises – “Zapo-rozhstal”, “Zaporozhcoke”, and “Zaporozhogneupor” – were recognized for the best collective bargaining agree-ments among enterprises in Zaporozhye region in 2020 also in the rating of Zaporozhsky Regional Trade Union Council.
