For the International Women’s Day, Zaporizhstal prepared gifts and concert at the Cultural Center of Metallurgists for its employees on March 5. The employees were honored and congratulated by the management of the Works, representatives of the regional and city authorities of Zaporizhzhia, union leaders.
Diplomas from the CEO and tablets honored nine best employees of Zaporizhstal, another 8 women received as a gift money certificates to the well-known perfumery of Ukraine. Each employee of the plant received a box of sweets and a cash bonus for the holiday. The premium fund amounted to about 900 thousand UAH.
2366 women work at the Works, every fifth worker is a woman. The company employs 66 female workers, awarded with gifts from Zaporizhzhia regional state administration, Zaporizhzhia city council and city executive committee, and four women with state awards: orders of Princess Olga of the II and III levels, as well as Diploma of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine. At the Works, there are 63 mothers with many children and one mother-heroine who raised five children.
