In 2016, «Zaporizhstal» PJSC had increased the tax transfers to the budget of Ukraine for 28% (for UAH 704 million), by remitting to the government’s coffers a record-breaking amount of UAH 3.2 billiard. In 2015, the Works paid out to the state UAH 2.5 billiard of taxes and fees.
The amount of the Works’ tax liabilities paid to the local budget in 2016 grew up for 66% (for UAH 255 million) – up to UAH 640 million. In 2015, this index made up UAH 385 million.
The Works annually boosts the amount of remittances to the budgets of all levels, in spite of the crises in the brunch, in particular, decrease of demand and prices for metal products, ongoing downswing of the home market, and pressure of monopolies. «Zaporizhstal» PJSC was able to strengthen its positions due to effective operation aimed at the cost savings, realization of the large modernization projects, energy saving programs, products quality improvement, effective utilization of the production resources.

The effective operation of «Zaporizhstal» Works was reflected on the growth of the employees’ wages, and in 2016, it was increased for 16.8%, which made up, upon the results of December 2016, in average at the Works, UAH 11120.
«Zaporizhstal» PJSC is one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine and in Zaporozhye region. The Works is included into TOP-100 of the largest tax-payers of Ukraine, which was made up by the State Fiscal Service based on taxes payment into the summary budget of the country.
