Within the framework of solemn celebration of the 82nd anniversary from the date of the Works foundation, on PJSC “Zaporizhstal” the top 57 employees will be awarded diplomas, valuable gifts and cash bonus. The total amount of funds allocated for bonuses to employees, amounted to more than UAH 350 thousand.
The best teams of five production departments will be encouraged by target bonus in the amount of UAH 20 thousand for improvement of material resources and living conditions of their departments. Besides, some working dynasties of the Works will be also rewarded with valuable presents. To veterans of the Works traditionally will be paid financial aid, the total amount of funds allocated for these purposes amounted to about UAH 250 thousand.
On the threshold of the 82nd anniversary from the date of the Works foundation in the exhibition hall “Kozak-Palace” will be held a solemn event, in which 6,000 Zaporizhstal workers and their families will take part. During the celebration honoring of the best workers and veterans of the Works will be held. The program of the festive evening for families of Zaporizhstal workers will be filled with bright events and competitions, organized more than 20 active recreation areas for adults and children of employees: art and earthenware workshops, flower studio, anvil, woodcarving, roller skating and other entertainments. The finale of the festival will be a concert with the participation of Arsen Mirzoyan, and at the end of celebration people will see the spectacular fire show.
The date of the Works foundation shall be taken to be the first tone of hot iron that was produced in blast furnace #1 in November 16, 1993. First melt was produced by blast-furnace keepers Volodyan and Perelyubsky under auspices of foreman Basharov. Throughout its history, blast furnace department of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” melted more than 220 million tons of iron. Now three Honored Metallurgist of Ukraine are working in blast furnace department: foreman Valery Ostrykh, chief shift foreman Alexander Nikolaev, and mechanical engineer Vyacheslav Gontar.
