“Zaporizhstal” works continues to invest in the most valuable and prospective thing – in a healthy lifestyle and sport. Last year together with the city authorities, the works literally saved the legendary football school “Metallurg” from the closure, and in this year, the works makes every effort to develop and strengthen the success of the school.
The pupils of the Sports School again have a joyful event – they got a new uniform. All nine teams of different ages are just out of a bandbox.
– We lay down very ambitious plans for the professional development of the Youth Sports School. In our school, 650 children are engaged, which means that 650 healthy families have chosen sports in Zaporozhye. For some of the children, football will be an improvement, a hobby, and someone others will connect their whole life with football, – said Deputy Mayor of Zaporozhye, Anatoly Pustovarov.
According to Anatoly Pustovarov, support of Zaporozhye sports by “Zaporizhstal” works should become an example for another socially responsible business.
