PJSC “Zaporizhstal” published financial statements for 2015, prepared in accordance with IFRS and checked by auditing firm KPMG.
Information in financial statements of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” for 2015, prepared in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and the legislation of Ukraine, as well as the current “Regulations on Information Disclosure Issuers of Securities” approved by decision of the NSSMC from December 3, 2013 № 2826. Financial statements audited by the company KPMG: “Zaporizhstal” received clearly positive audit opinion. The financial statements fairly represent financial results and financial standing of the enterprise by the balance sheet date, in all fundamental aspects.

“The main factors that influenced work of the plant in 2015 concerned all industrial enterprises of Ukraine without exception: the deepening economic and political crisis, the growth of railway tariffs, raw material shortage and fall in world market prices. And if the first half of the year we have worked relatively well, the second half of 2015 and the first quarter of this year – are very difficult in the domestic steel industry. Despite this, we managed to ensure profitable operation of the Works, consistently paid salaries, saved staff and kept the production”, – said CEO of PJSC «Zaporizhstal» Rostislav Shurma.
It is a reminder that from January to December 2015 on the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works was the growth of production figures: iron – by 8,4%, steel – by 0,5% in comparison with the same period in 2014.
