Increasing of living standards and quality of people life in the regions where Metinvest Group is present is the important component of social strategy of the company, in the context of which, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works for 9 months 2013 has transferred 827,3 million UAH to the budgets of all levels, which exceed finance indicator of the comparable period of the previous year (786,8 million UAH) for the sum over 40,5 million UAH., or on 5,1 %.
Following the results of 9 months 2013, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has transferred 194,6 million UAH to the local budget, which makes 23,5 % from a total sum of the Works taxes and levies transfers for the reporting period. Growth of transfers to the local budget for the accounting period has made 3,8 million UAH or 2 % in comparison with the indicator for the comparable period of 2012 (190,7 million UAH).
