In February, 2013, «Zaporizhstal» II&SW increased the performance volume of all product types as compared with February, 2012, iron production growth made up 3%, steel –7%, rolled stock – 14.3%.

In February, 2013, simultaneously with growth of the production volumes, growth of the production efficiency indices continued. Particularly, natural gas consumption had been considerably reduced (in comparison with the analogues period of the last year) in steel making production: minimum consumption of natural gas made up 33.4 m3 per ton of produced steel (for comparison, in February, 2012 – 42.4 m3 per ton), which made it possible to safe more than 3 million mm3 of natural gas per month.
