The «Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has congratulated its employees on a professional holiday – the Day of workers of metallurgical and mining industry. The total amount of the funds directed on awarding of the best employees, labour collectives and veterans of the Steel Works, as well as on organisation of actions on the “Metallurgist’ Day” composed over 2,8 million UAH.
On the “Metallurgist’ Day”, 434 employees of the “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works are honoured by awards of the Metinvest Group, certificates of honour, titles, bonus and decoration signs of the Steel Works. In addition, on occasion of the holiday, the bonus in an amount of 150 UAH has been paid to each employee. The total amount of the funds directed on payment of bonus and valuable gifts (TVs, tablets) for the employees has made around 2,5 million UAH.
For special successes in work, Gennady Sergienko, the gas watchman of the Blast Furnace and Dmitry Kubatko, the steelmaker of the open-hearth furnace are awarded by the “Gold star of Metinvest».10 employees of the Steel Works have received letters of gratitude from the Metinvest Group. On behalf of the Steel Works, on occasion of the holiday 5 best labour collectives have been presented by the certificates on 20 thousand UAH, each one for improving of production living conditions of the employees in the structural departments.
The “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works pays special attention to veterans of the Steel Works – on occasion of the “Metallurgist’ Day” all veterans were paid a bonus for a total sum of 256 thousand UAH. 89 employees of the Steel Works on occasion of the holiday are awarded the honorary title of the “Veteran of work”, with handing over of the certificate and the monetary bonus for 1000 UAH.
1600 tickets on 80 thousand UAH for circus program in Zaporozhye state circus are purchased for families of the employees of the Steel Works and for their children.
