In November 2012, the integrated works “Zaporizhstal” has completely passed to paperless registration of cargoes, which are transported within Ukraine by the railway transport, without attaching of transportation documents.
Interchange of data of computerised systems of the state-owned enterprise GP “Ukrzaliznytsya” and of data of the computerised systems of JSC “Zaporizhstal” by means of the adapter module AC Klient-U3 and usage of the electronic digital signature form the basis of electronic document circulation. The electronic documents, which regulate payment for using of cars and for exchange of cars on the connecting station are also in force. The electronic digital signature, which allows to realize relations between “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works and the railway administration, with the subsequent data transmission on Ukrzaliznytsya server, forms the basis of the electronic document circulation.
The advantage of the electronic document circulation system is its convenience to the client. The consumer of the enterprise metal products receives the electronic transportation document on the ordered product immediately at the moment of cargo acceptance for transportation. Along with that, time for cargoes registration essentially reduced (2-3 minutes) as well as time of cars demurrage at access roads is also reduced (up to two hours).
“We look toward improving the efficiency, carry out modernisation and actively introduce state-of-the-art technologies”, — pointed out Rostislav Shurma, the General Director of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
At the beginning of 2011, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has been appointed by the GP “Ukrzaliznytsya” as the base ground, for all enterprises of Ukraine, which realize cargo transportation, on complex introduction of pilot project of electronic document circulation. By that time, the automated working places with the most developed system of computer software support have already been created at “Zaporizhstal” and the multifunction integrated automated control system of transport operations on the enterprise railway transport was already in use.
