“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works, within the framework of implementing of Metinvest Group’s social responsibility program, constructed new children’s playground in Pobeda garden square of Zaporozhye (Khortytskoy district, around 170 thousand citizens live there). Investment amount to the project is more than 1,1 million UAH.
The new children’s playground includes entertaining recreational complexes, swing sets, merry-go-rounds, and slides. The complex occupies the area of nearly 1800 square meters and constructed, taking into account the provision of comfort conditions and safety for children. “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works also improved the adjacent territory around the new children’s playground – installed benches, litter-boxes, pedestrian zone is tiled by paving slabs. Material, from which the play-ground elements are made (wood, moisture resistant ply-wood, metal) in careful attitude, ensure their high reliability and long life.
“We gave excellent present to children and their parents – constructed big children’s complex in Khortitskoy district, which with confidence could be referred to as one of the best children’s playground in Zaporozhye. In spite of the hard time in the country, in the city, “Zaporizhstal” remain faithful to the principles of social responsibility, and we further would fulfil social programs, which had been evolved earlier”,- said Rostyslav Shurma, CEO of “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works.
“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works, within 11 months of 2014, invested around 14,2 million UAH into the construction and development of social projects, important for Zaporozhye citizens – children’s playgrounds, sports grounds, repair of department in children’s hospital №5, replacement of widows and repair of roofs in day-care-centers and many other things.
