The “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has demonstrated growth in basic production figures for the period of January-November 2013. The overall steel production has increased by 9,8 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012, while rolled stock production has also shown an increase.
In November 2013, the steel works produced 250,6 thousand tons of iron, 279,0 thousand tons of steel, and 199,1 thousand tons of rolled products.

The observed decrease in production volumes in November 2013 compared to November 2012 is attributed to the execution of large-scale repair works on major equipment in the blast furnace, rolling mill, and power production facilities. The total investment dedicated to these repair works amounted to approximately 62,3 million UAH.
From January to November 2013, “Zaporizhstal” Steel Works has increased steel production by 0,3% and rolled stock production by 1,6% compared to the same period in 2012.
