The seminar for the cultural representatives of Zaporozhye with the participation of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for Development of Ukraine was held on 29th of May 2013. The topic of the seminar was “Modern culture facing modern challenges”. The seminar was organized as a part of carrying-out of social programs of integrated iron and steel works “Zaporizhstal” with the assistance of regional Department of Culture of Zaporozhye regional public administration.
About 60 representatives of regional and city departments of culture, municipal institutions, representatives of public organizations of Zaporozhye and Zaporozhye region (Tokmak, Melitopol, Berdyansk, Primorsk) took part in educational seminar.
The moderator of the meeting was the manager of the course “Dynamic culture” of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for Development of Ukraine Olesya Ostrovskaya-Lyuta. She accessibly informed the attendees of the seminar about the programs and the projects of the foundation, in which the professional cultural communities of Zaporozhye and Zaporozhye region can take part. Currently two programs — program “i3” and “Dynamic museum” are implemented successfully by the Foundation for Development of Ukraine as a part of the course “Dynamic culture”. According to Ostrovskaya-Lyuta the quality of the idea and its description are necessary in order to win a grant, and also clear, realistic and true budget. In the course of seminar Olesya Ostrovskaya-Lyuta also imparted her knowledge with regard to writing of design offers in the sphere of culture and possibilities which were offered to the participants of programs.
During the seminar the participants — the representatives of culture of Zaporozhye region — put questions to the representative of Foundation for Development of Ukraine concerning modern culture, visual creative work and considering of culture from different aspects. “The goal of the meeting is closer cooperation between organizations and cultural operators from different regions. We would like to attract to participation in grant program of Foundation for Development of Ukraine as many cultural organizations and creative people from Zaporozhye as possible, we would like to expand the possibilities of creative development” — mentioned the manager of the course “Dynamic culture” Olesya Ostrovskaya-Lyuta.
Irina Konoryeva, the director of department of culture, tourism, nationalities and religions of Zaporozhye regional state administration, mentioned that iron and steel works “Zaporizhstal” is socially responsible enterprise which contributes into the development of the region in many aspects. Today’s seminar which was organized in cooperation with integrated iron and steel works with the participation of Foundation for Development of Ukraine will animate future development of cultural events directed to the satisfaction of cultural needs not only of Zaporozhye region population but also of the whole Ukraine”.
