On the threshold of the professional holiday, the Metallurgist’s Day, “Zaporizhstal” rewarded its best employees and rendered material assistance to its long-service employees in amount of about UAH 650 thousand.
Totally, 816 employees of the Works were granted the government awards and the awards from the Metinvest Group on the Metallurgist’s Day. The general amount sum of cash bonuses, allowanced for awards, made up UAH 414 thousand. The material assistance, allowanced for the long-service employees of “Zaporizhstal” II&SW on the Metallurgist’s Day, made up UAH 234 thousand. Let us note, that “Zaporizhstal” II&SW, as well as other enterprises belonging to the Metinvest Group, within the framework of the corporate social responsibility, on a regular basis patronizes the non-working pensioners, in 2012, the Works allowanced for these purposes UAH 975 thousand.
“The scale and significance of the metallurgist’s profession characterizes the fact that steel-making is the branch of Ukrainian economy, where hundreds of thousands of the employees are busy. As a matter of fact, all our production achievements, implementation of new technologies, updating — are the work made by people that we are proud of and appreciate”, — the General Director of “Zaporizhstal” II&SW Rostislav Shurma noted.
The employees and long-service employees of “Zaporizhstal” will be solemnly celebrated on the 19th of July, 2013, in the metallurgists’ Culture Center. For those who should be on a special shift work on this holyday, congratulations will be arranged at the work meetings at each production division.
