Metinvest Group arranged for a number of festive cultural and entertainment events for the professional holiday of Steel Worker’s and Miner’s Day. The Company traditionally honoured the best professionals of Zaporizhzhia enterprises of Metinvest, there was an immersive exposition,”Art of steel”, followed by a grand concert with participation of Ukrainian pop-stars.
The main celebration site was “Slavutich Arena” stadium where Tayanna, Sophia Rotaru and Mozgi band performed on the stage for 25 000 guests. The concert was broadcast on the screen located in the second celebration location, “Raduga” fountain cascade as well as live on a regional channel TV5. In addition, there was an immersive projection show, “Art of steel”, at “Raduga” fountain cascade attended by 3,000 citizens and guests of Zaporizhzhia during the period from July 16 to July 18. Over 160 employees of Metinvest enterprises of Zaporizhzhia were awarded by local government, the Company and “Zaporizhstal”, “Zaporizhzhia Coke”, “Zaporozhigneupor” and ZLMZ in the run-up to the professional holiday. The enterprises committed over UAH 1 200 000 for bonus award to their employees. The top award of the Com-pany, “Gold Star of Metinvest”, and the bonus were given to four employees of Metinvest enterprises of Za-porizhzhia.
All the employees of enterprises were paid a bonus for a total of UAH 9 000 000 for their professional holiday. Festive gala nights in Steelworkers’ Palace and river cruises were arranged for non-working veterans of enterprises for the holiday.
Approximately 300 employees of Zaporizhzhia enterprises with 25-year work experience were awarded the title of “Labour veteran” and a bonus for a total of UAH 300 000.
