Rostislav Shurma spoke as a speaker of the national project “My Career in Ukraine”, organized by the Center for “Development of CSR and “Career Hub” in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center, with the support of PJSC “FUIB”.
Within the framework of the project, the CEO of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” answered the questions and advised about the planning of his career to 50 pupils of the 10th grade from the schools of Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kirovograd regions, who became winners among the authors of the best essays on “My Future Profession: Planning and development”.
“Such projects seriously motivate those who face the choice of the future profession, encourage people to live and build their careers in Ukraine. This is very important, given the disappointing trends of labor emigration, which are inherent in our economy today. I hope that thanks to this project, today’s schoolchildren will be able to have a decent job and a successful career in Ukraine in the future,” – noted Rostislav Shurma.
After the discussion, the schoolchildren visualized the vision of their future professions and presented it to other project participants. The project “My Future Career in Ukraine” has been held for the third year in a row, the project’s goal is to show the Ukrainian students a possible career way and inspire them to consciously choose their future profession.
