Metinvest Group's Zaporizhstal continues to implement its corporate programme in order to enhance the comfort of workplace amenities for metallurgists.
In 2025, major overhauls were completed at the sanitary and amenity premises in the open-hearth shop, the instrumentation and automation shop, the motor transport department, and the central electrical laboratory. In addition, repairs are also going at the sanitary and amenity premises in the water supply shop.
The total investment in facility renovations in 2025 exceeded UAH 13 million. The total area of renovated premises will be 530 m2, serving at least 450 employees of the enterprise.
In particular, Zaporizhstal has recently put into operation the upgraded amenity and sanitary premises in the open-hearth, covering an area of over 280 m2. The major overhaul included the complete replacement of engineering networks, window and door units, sanitary equipment, as well as comprehensive finishing works. The premises are equipped with hairdryers, dryers, climate control systems, and cabinets for personal belongings. The renovated space will be used by 145 employees of Zaporizhstal.
The Workplace Amenities programme will continue in 2026. As part of the programme, further renovation of the sanitary and amenity premises in the open-hearth shop and water supply shop is planned, along with the installation of water heaters and arrangement of a modern laundry facility.
As a reminder, Metinvest Group's Workplace Amenities corporate programme, e, which involves the modernisation of amenity facilities in production units, has been operating at Zaporizhstal since 2012. During this period, more than 240 amenity premises have been renovated, with total investments exceeding UAH 260 million.
