“Zaporizhstal” has successfully passed the recertification audit and received the Qualification Certificate and Certificate of Conformity for the Services Provision On the Carriage of Goods by Railway Transport in accordance with the requirements of TU U 52.2-00191230-031: 2015.
The compliance audit was conducted at the Zaporizhstal Transport and Logistics Department by the specialists of the Authority for the certification of automated control systems and conditions of the transportation process on the railway transport (Kharkiv, Ukraine).
The audit confirmed the compliance of the Zaporizhstal rail freight transportation system with the requirements of TU 52.2-00191230-031: 2015. The experts highly appreciated the systematic work of “Zaporizhstal” aimed to update the railroads rolling stock, ensure security at all stages of the transportation process, and raise the qualifications of the personnel.
Recall, since 2017, “Zaporizhstal” has been carrying out remotorization of railroads rolling stock, which involves replacing of the engine with a new one, more efficient engine manufactured by the American company “Cummins”, upgrading the hydraulic transmission and wheel sets, and the braking system. For three years, five TGM-4 machines were renovated by the Nikolayev and Zaporizhzhia diesel locomotive repair plants, as well as by the company’s own forces.
