At JSC “Zaporizhstal” in the program to improve the efficiency of production first started the project “Young Leaders”, which was attended by 140 young employees of “Zaporizhstal”. Within 3 months, the young plant will develop projects to increase the efficiency of the enterprise.
The purpose of the program “Young Leaders” – to identify youth enterprise employees who have the potential to de-velop and are ready to become leaders of change. During the project, the young plant will offer new ideas and innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of the enterprise.
The preparatory phase of the program “Young Leaders” was launched in August, when the application for participation is given about 250 young employees of the plant under the age of 35 years. During the preparation of young people has been tested and trainings for skill training presentations. The test results of 140 selected young leaders, formed 22 teams, each of them will develop a project to improve the efficiency of production under the direction of the curator of the number of top management of the plant. The results of the “Young Leaders” will be announced in February 2016. The best projects will be implemented, and the winners will be awarded and delivered to the personnel reserve for senior positions.

It should be noted that the plant employs about 6,000 young professionals under the age of 35 years, mainly repre-sentatives of blue-collar occupations. The plant “Zaporizhstal”, there are ample opportunities for professional and creative development of young people. Every year there is a contest of professional skills, which is attended by more than 500 young employees and other industrial projects. In addition, young people can express themselves well in public life combine, taking part in KVN, sports competitions, creative contests in various volunteer projects.
