In the public garden of school No.5, an ecological action “Day of Fairies” was held. A small park is a project of the “We are a city” social initiatives competition of “Zaporizhstal” PJSC.
During the action, ornamental fruit trees and flowers were planted, the participants cleaned the area from garbage, children held a quiz. Zaporizhstal supported the activists and helped to improve the square. To purchase green plantations and the necessary equipment, the plant allocated UAH 10 000.
The initiator of this action was the head of the school park project “Green Park for the Zelenyi Yar” Tatiana Zhavzharova:
– We asked for funds to purchase trees, so that our garden became even greener. This place is the only one in our microdistrict of such a type. There is a children’s and sports ground, where children play constantly. We got rid of several emergency trees, planted new ones, but this is not enough. Now we plant additional decorative plum trees and apple trees, as well as many very beautiful flowers. Many thanks to Zaporizhstal for help!
