We started the New Year at the Works with a healthy mindset: a festive mood reigned in the workshops. Most of all, holiday plantings contributed to this. Young Zaporizhstal workers went to workshops, sowed, and, of course, collected sweet gifts under musical accompaniment.
Thanks to the tradition of sowing at the Works, the youth gathered several kilograms of sweets and fruits. In addition, according to another good tradition, members of the youth organization of the Works present all the gathered guests to large families.
The large Pozdin family has been friends with the youth of the Works for six years. This tradition began when the family was forced to leave the occupied territory and moved from Enakievo to Zaporizhzhia. The times were not the easiest, but in 2014 they met with the young employees of the enterprise and they began to help them settle down in a new place:
– The youth organization of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” helps us from the moment we move to Zaporizhzhia. They always greet us with holidays, bring presents, and on New Year’s holidays give tickets for entertainment performances. Every year, the children wait for them and prepare for the meeting. Even I always feel great joy when metallurgists call and ask me to come. Moreover, I meet them not as helpers, but as family members. It is very difficult to describe these emotions, I am just very grateful to them for everything they do for us, – said the multi-child mother, Natalia Pozdina.
