On Sunday morning, January 19, the young workers met again, but not on work issues and not in production workshops. On this day, they supported one of the many traditions of the Works, namely taking a dip in the Dnieper at Epiphany.
– This is a great holiday and therefore, I believe, that we are keeping up the right traditions. I first dived last year and then decided to come to the Yacht Club this year. Together with my team, it is much easier to decide to swim, – said the foreman of CRS-1 Nikolai Reshetnik. – The feeling of being immersed is very difficult to convey. It is just a shock. However, when you get out of the water, you feel the peace of your mind.
After dipping, each participant was waiting for a cup of hot tea to keep warm. However, most bathers are not afraid of the cold. Because for them this is not the first time:
