“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works Took Part in the Charitable Event “Love Has Mercy”

Charity concert under the annual charity project of Zaporizhzhia Diocese “Love has mercy” was held in the Palace of Culture of Metallurgists. As you know, all the funds collected under this project are sent for the assistance in the treatment of sick children – purchase of medications, medical preparations and medical equipment for oncology children of the region.

Prior to the concert in the foyer of the Palace of Culture of Metallurgists, the action “Children for Children” was held, during which the children of art houses and Sunday schools of the city presented their crafts to customers. During the charity concert, the children managed to proceed a little more than UAH4 000.

– One glass for the diagnosis of the presence of sick cells in the cerebrospinal fluid costs more than UAH 2 000, which means that we can buy two glasses. Two children’s lives will be saved. Is it a lot or a little? I want to express my gratitude to the labor collectives who responded to our appeal – PJSC «Zaporizhstal», PrJSC “Zaporozhogneupor” and PrJSC “Zaporozhkoks” – said Metropolitan Luke of Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol.

“Zaporizhstal” Steel Works forwarded to the Grace two certificates for UAH 20 000 and 100 blood units donated by the company employees during the charity marathon “Love has mercy”.

The collectives of the city musical college named after Mayboroda, Zaporizhzhia vocalists, the choir of St. Andrew’s Cathedral of Zaporizhzhia took part in the charity concert. For seven years, the project “Love has mercy” has collected more than UAH 4 million, more than 100 liters of blood, dozens of saved children’s lives are under its belt.
