Owing to the competition “We are a city”, it will be warmer in winter in one of Zaporizhzhia houses – the initiative group of the housing society No. 11 “Mashinostroitel” implemented its project.
The grant in the amount of UAH 50 000, received for the victory in the competition, allowed to insulate the facade of the house on Polyakova Street, 5 on the north side. The authors of the project have dreamed of this for two years.
– It was not easy to win in the competition “We are a city”, – said Yuri Buchtiy, the chairman of the housing society No. 11 “Mashinostroitel”. – We had strong competitors. I know, at least, three houses that have submitted projects for insulation. It was not enough to come and just tell us that we want money for insulation. It was very important to make presentation of our project properly. The house was warmed with foam plastic, with a rough cast surface. It became warm and very bright.
The tenants of nearby houses are also interested in the experience of “Mashinostroitel”. Next year they also plan to submit their projects for the competition “We are a city”.
